The Role - Sales Manager, Agronomics

The Location - Scottsdale, AZ

PURPOSE:

We are seeking a Sales Manager, Agronomics to manage and support area maintenance and performance goals for agronomics sales and products.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

  • Develop and implement a plan that delivers sales performance results in alignment with sales objectives for the region

  • Analyze maintenance price overrides-targeting market pricing accuracy

  • Establish matrix pricing for seasonal buys (ie seed and fertilizer)

  • Train and coach Business Development Managers on forecasting maintenance items

  • Drive area training- assist in development of curriculum for SiteOne University

  • Area resource for agronomic product.maintenance knowledge

  • Support sales of agronomic products and services to customers and is ultimately accountable for meeting sales goals

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Prospecting techniques to create interest in new buyers

  • Presentation and communication skills

  • Negotiation, conflict resolution and customer service skills

  • Proven approach to access decision makers at client organizations

  • Knowledge of sales cycle and solution selling techniques

  • Ability to communicate value proposition and differentiate SiteOne's products and services

  • Ability to think quickly and make decision

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school, secondary diploma or equivalent required

  • College degree preferred

  • 3 - 5 years min. new customer sales experience and sales team management - required

  • 1 - 3 years Agronomics industry experience - preferred .
